VENICE, FL — A woman was tragically found shot to death late Wednesday night at a residence in Venice, as reported by the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were dispatched to the 300 block of Cowry Road shortly after 11:30 p.m. following reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, they discovered the victim, identified as Leanna M. Leach, deceased inside the home.
