BRADENTON, Fla. — Two Florida teenagers have been arrested following an incident in which they allegedly threatened a woman with a firearm and stole her purse on February 25 at an apartment complex in Bradenton.

Jeremiah Williams, aged 19, along with a 17-year-old boy from Clearwater, are currently facing charges of armed robbery with a firearm, as reported by the Bradenton Police Department in a Facebook post.

She said the juveniles then threatened her with a firearm and took her purse. 

The victim provided descriptions of the suspects, and BPD patrol and Crime Reduction Team officers located one of them, a 17-year-old from Clearwater, hiding in a wooded area behind the complex. Officers also found two backpacks behind an apartment building. The bags contained electronics, 258 grams of marijuana, and a firearm reported stolen in Manatee County.

Detectives later identified the second suspect as Jeremiah Williams, 19, of Bradenton. Williams turned himself in to BPD on March 2.

Both are charged with armed robbery with a firearm. The investigation is ongoing.
