SARASOTA, Fla. (WFLA) — A man was arrested following a shooting in Sarasota that transpired early Sunday morning, according to the Sarasota Police Department.
At approximately 3:15 a.m., officers responded to the scene located in the 1100 block of North Washington Boulevard, where initial reports suggest a fight erupted among several groups.

The suspect, identified as Grevil Vicente Bonilla Enamorado, 29, allegedly drew a firearm and discharged it.
A woman was fatally shot at the scene, while another male victim sustained injuries and was transported to Sarasota Memorial Hospital, where he is reported to be in stable condition.
Witnesses at the location heard the gunfire and managed to detain the suspect until police arrived.
Officials stated that no connection has been established between the suspect and the victims.
Sarasota Police arrested Bonilla Enamorado, who now faces charges of homicide and aggravated battery with a firearm.
