Sprouts to Launch Stores in Venice and St. Petersburg, Creating Almost 200 Jobs

Sprouts Farmers Market is set to unveil a new store in South Sarasota County and is on the lookout to hire nearly 100 individuals.

The Venice store will be located at 1120 Jacaranda Blvd. and is scheduled to open its doors on November 14.

This store is one of two set to open in Florida on that day; the other is located at 3411 32nd Place S. in St. Petersburg.

To facilitate hiring, Sprouts will host a job fair on September 30 and October 1 at the Venice Community Center on Nokomis Avenue.

The company is looking to fill various positions, including department managers, cashiers, courtesy clerks, and receivers.

Details regarding hiring for the St. Petersburg store were not disclosed.

With 478 stores across 24 states, Sprouts employs around 35,000 people. In Florida, there are currently 58 stores, including 23 located along the Gulf Coast.
