Sheriff Identifies Two Victims in Murder-Suicide at Sarasota Store

SARASOTA, FL – The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the identities of two individuals found deceased behind the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet located at 4092 Cattleman Road earlier this week.

The victims, identified as Mandy Coxwell, 34, and Cameron Marsh, 33, were discovered at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Their bodies were located under a semi-truck trailer in the store’s loading bay, according to the sheriff’s office report.

Upon investigation, deputies recovered three bullet casings and a handgun in proximity to the deceased. The medical examiner’s autopsy revealed that Coxwell succumbed to a gunshot wound to the head, while Marsh’s cause of death was determined to be self-inflicted gunshot wounds under the chin and in the neck.

Witnesses, including local business employees, recognized Coxwell and Marsh as regular figures in the area, often seen panhandling and seeking shelter beneath trailers and in the loading bay during nighttime hours. The sheriff’s office has notified their next of kin, and the investigation is ongoing.
