Memorial Day Patriotic Symphony Salute

Where: The Center of Anna Maria Island, 407 Magnolia Ave., Anna Maria
This free 90-minute program features a flag presentation by the U.S. Marine Corps.
When: Monday, 10 a.m.
Where: The parade will commence at Main Street and Osprey Avenue, finishing at Chaplain J.D. Hamel Park at Main Street and Gulfstream Avenue.
A ceremony will follow at 11 a.m. in the park, featuring guest speaker Sonny Bywaters, a key figure in founding the Sarasota Patriotic Observance Committee.
