BRADENTON, Fla. – Authorities in Bradenton have taken a suspected drug dealer into custody and confiscated three firearms, one of which was reported stolen, from his residence.

Law enforcement apprehended Olvin Gutierrez Ponce, 44, on several charges, including possession with the intent to sell, manufacture, or distribute a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a place of worship.

The arrest and armament seizure took place while the BPD’s Crime Reduction Team, alongside SWAT, Homeland Security, and the ATF, was executing a search warrant at Ponce’s residence.
