Deputies have reported that Todd A. Hoch, the owner of Sash and Sill LLC, is facing multiple felony charges tied to construction fraud. This investigation commenced in July 2024.

Detectives said Hoch took payments from more than 30 victims for window and door replacement services.

Investigators revealed that Hoch accepted payments from over 30 victims for services related to window and door replacement. Alarmingly, some clients never received the promised work, while others completed projects later found themselves facing property liens due to unpaid vendors.

According to the sheriff’s office, victims entered into contracts with Hoch that spanned amounts from approximately $6,900 to a staggering $73,000.

In total, Hoch faces 17 counts of larceny involving amounts between $1,000 and $20,000, along with five counts of larceny between $20,000 and $200,000, and five counts of embezzlement for the misapplication of construction funds between $1,000 and $100,000. This sums to a total of 27 felony charges.

Currently, Todd A. Hoch is being held at the Sarasota County Correctional Facility.
