Models debut at 1,000-home development in Parrish.

Date:

Those interested in Sunchase, a new community being developed by Del Webb in Parrish, will be able to get a better feel for the community, with the Aug. 16 opening of six model homes.

Sunchase is exclusively for those ages 55 and up, and its designers used insight from these types of buyers to shape their offerings, which include 18 floor plans. The homes feature indoor and outdoor spaces, open layouts for entertaining, and single-level living. Floor plans range from 1,200 to over 3,300 square feet, with prices from the mid-$300,000s to above $600,000.

Pre-sales at Sunchase started on Aug. 8, with buyers now able to purchase within the community’s initial phase of available home sites. Home construction is already underway, and officials expect the first residences to be completed by October and November.

Once fully developed, the 55-plus community from Del Webb will include 1,003 homes.

Del Webb is a brand under PulteGroup, an Atlanta-based homebuilding company that closed more than 31,000 home sales last year, achieving $18 billion in revenue in 2024.

“Sunchase is rapidly progressing, and we’re pleased to offer prospective residents a tangible glimpse of the community’s vision,” said Sean Strickler, president of PulteGroup’s West Florida division, in a statement. “With model homes available for touring and key amenities underway, buyers can now experience the quality, design, and lifestyle that defines the Del Webb brand at a compelling price.”

The amenities will include the multimillion-dollar Solara Clubhouse, which features the private Beachwood Tap Bar and Grill, fitness center, and gathering rooms. Other offerings will consist of swimming pools, cabanas, outdoor fire pits, covered pickleball courts, walking trails, a yoga lawn, putting green, and golf simulator lounge. A full-time lifestyle director will organize activities, from fitness classes to social gatherings.

Our residents will enjoy a hidden gem that provides easy access to the fantastic Gulf Coast culture and lifestyle.”
