BRADENTON, Fla. (WWSB) – The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is intensifying efforts against illegal gambling. On Thursday, undercover agents executed a raid on Good Times Arcade, situated at 105 Cortez Rd., following a tip-off and preliminary undercover visits that validated illegal gambling activities involving electronic slot machines.
According to the sheriff’s office, authorities confiscated 55 full-size arcade-style slot machines, 27 computers, and other electronic devices used for unlawful gaming, along with over $160,000 in illicit earnings.

ABC 7 reported live from the scene during the raid, observing at least three box trucks being loaded with slot machines and additional gambling equipment.
Special Investigations detectives executed a search warrant at Good Times Arcade, promptly shutting down the operation before seizing the machines and cash, according to the sheriff’s office.
While no customers or employees were arrested, the sheriff’s office indicated that the owner of the business is under investigation, with charges forthcoming. Detectives had previously warned the management and issued a cease and desist order prior to the raid.
The sheriff’s office noted that this investigation is ongoing.
