Grisell Aleman, City Director of Mérida, Mexico, Michael Patrick Fehily, Assistant Director of Mérida, and Ivonne Almanza, City Director of Perpignan, France, recently joined us for a vibrant celebration, complete with a mariachi band, to honor the significance of Hispanic heritage.
As a part of celebrating 15 wonderful years, The Sister Cities Association of Sarasota is excited to host the First Hispanic Heritage Fiesta and Fundraiser on Wednesday, September 17th, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Gulf Coast Eagle.
In recognition of this special event, SCAS will also welcome Juan de Dios Colli Pinto, City Commissioner of Mérida.
Highlights of the evening include an interactive cooking demonstration with the renowned Chef Amalia, live Mariachi music to enhance the festive atmosphere, and much more.
