The Early Learning Coalition of Sarasota County has appointed Alison Fraga as its new chief executive officer.

In other educational developments, Gov. Ron DeSantis has named Karen Rose to the School Board of Sarasota County. Rose, who previously lost her seat to Liz Barker in November 2024, takes over from Tim Enos, who resigned earlier this month.
