Additionally, she serves as Secretary for the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Foundation Guild – Lakewood Ranch Branch, a group dedicated to supporting children’s health initiatives. One of its prominent events, Paws for a Cause, gathers pet lovers, families, and local businesses for a day of fun, all while raising essential funds for Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. Kim led the planning and design for the inaugural event in 2024 and continues her leadership with the Branch President, Paige Ward, for the 2nd Annual Paws for a Cause on October 11, 2025. This event will feature costume contests, photo opportunities, raffles, food trucks, and more — all aligned with purpose.

“Our work gives us a platform,” Kim emphasizes. “If we can use it to lift others up — to bring people together, raise awareness, and raise funds — then that’s the work I’m most proud of.”

While Cartano Creative may be small by design, its impact is substantial, and the studio is poised for growth. With extensive experience and a proven process, Kim and Steve are actively expanding their client base, particularly among local builders, architects, and mission-driven organizations that value partnership, quality, and story-driven visuals.
