Officers responded to a shooting incident late on Monday night, discovering a person with a gunshot wound outside a residence.
BRADENTON, Fla. — The Bradenton police are currently conducting an investigation into a fatal shooting that occurred overnight.
Responding to an emergency call at 11:28 p.m. on 11th Avenue East, officers found an individual suffering from a gunshot wound near a home.
Despite law enforcement’s immediate first aid efforts, the victim succumbed to their injuries at the hospital early Tuesday morning, as confirmed by a recent news release.
Detectives, along with the Manatee Homicide Investigation Unit, are currently processing the crime scene and interviewing witnesses. Authorities indicate that more information will be made available as the investigation unfolds.
