Authorities Seek Missing At-Risk 2-Year-Old After Mother Escapes Law Enforcement Following Walmart Theft

The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) is currently searching for a 27-year-old woman named Courtney Faith Stanley, who fled the scene of a theft investigation at a Walmart in Bradenton. The incident took place on Tuesday at 6225 State Road 64 East.

During the investigation, Stanley was found with her 2-year-old daughter, Amara, who was unrestrained in the vehicle. In a desperate attempt to evade law enforcement, Stanley sped away and struck a deputy in the process.

Authorities have raised concerns for the child’s safety, as her mother’s reckless actions have placed her in potential danger.
