SARASOTA, Fla. (WFLA)— A tragic discovery was made Tuesday morning, as a man and a woman were found dead behind the Ollie’s Outlet in Sarasota.
Responding to the scene at 4092 Cattleman Road around 6:30 a.m., the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office quickly began their investigation.
“This appears to be an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public, nor is there an apparent subject at large,” stated the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office.
Throughout the day, crime scene technicians meticulously examined the loading dock area behind the store. At least two evidence markers were prominently placed on the ground, indicating the ongoing investigation.
The cause of death for the victims will be determined by the Medical Examiner’s Office.
