Allegiant Airlines is set to add a new destination to its expanding lineup at Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ). Beginning on November 20, 2025, travelers can enjoy nonstop flights between SRQ and Toledo Express Airport (TOL) in Ohio, with introductory one-way fares starting at just $59. Tickets are currently available for purchase at www.Allegiant.com.
This route represents the 35th nonstop destination offered by Allegiant from SRQ, showcasing the airline’s ongoing expansion in the Sarasota-Bradenton region.
“We’re thrilled to witness Allegiant’s continued growth at SRQ,” stated Rick Piccolo, President and CEO of SRQ Airport. “The inclusion of Toledo, Ohio, enhances our connections to the Midwest.”
Allegiant has significantly contributed to SRQ’s swift growth in recent years. The heightened demand and passenger volume facilitated the construction of the new Concourse A, which officially opened in January 2025. Earlier this year, Allegiant also launched services from SRQ to Lexington, Kentucky (LEX), further linking Sarasota to mid-sized Midwest markets.
Allegiant’s Broader Florida Expansion
In addition to its SRQ service, Allegiant Airlines is introducing six new routes throughout Florida, with three originating from a brand-new city for the airline: Fort Myers (RSW). These new routes will connect RSW to:
- Allentown, Pennsylvania (ABE)
- Appleton, Wisconsin (ATW)
- Des Moines, Iowa (DSM)
One-way fares for these new routes start at $69, with service beginning in November 2025.
Additionally, Allegiant is expanding its reach in other areas of Florida with:
- New nonstop flights from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) to Fort Wayne, Indiana (FWA)
- Service from Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) to New Orleans, Louisiana (MSY)
“This expansion underscores our commitment to link underserved communities with affordable, convenient travel options,” remarked Drew Wells, Allegiant’s Chief Commercial Officer. “By enhancing service to coastal cities, we enable travelers to spend less time in airports and more time enjoying their vacations.”
About Allegiant at SRQ
Since starting service at SRQ in 2018, Allegiant has quickly become one of the airport’s primary carriers, focusing on low-cost, leisure-centric routes. With its ultra-low-cost model, Allegiant provides unbundled fares, enabling customers to pay only for the services they require, thereby keeping base prices low.
