A luxurious property located at 18826 Ganton Avenue in the Concession, an upscale community in east Manatee County, has set a new milestone as the second highest-priced sale in Lakewood Ranch history.

The estate’s remarkable sale price of $6.9 million was reported on Wednesday by Donna Soda of the Schemmel Soda Group, which operates under Premier Sotheby’s International Realty.

Although Manatee County property records had not been updated by Wednesday afternoon to show the new ownership, it was previously owned by Don Weippert, who purchased the property in August 2018 for $675,000, according to records.

In 2022, the highest-ever sale in Lakewood Ranch occurred with the property at 8499 Lindrick Lane, which fetched $7.98 million.

Notably, Donna Soda now holds the distinction of three of the top sales in the 34202 area code, encompassing both the Concession and parts of Lakewood Ranch, with the Ganton Avenue home officially closing on August 20.
