Pair denies charges of indecent behavior on JetBlue flight to Sarasota.

Date:

Trista L. Reilly, 43, and Christopher Drew Arnold, 42, both hailing from Bristol, are currently facing charges of lewd or lascivious exhibition following an alleged incident aboard a flight on July 19.

As reported by the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport Police, a mother traveling with her two children notified a flight attendant that she observed the couple engaging in sexual acts in their seats.

Upon investigation, the flight attendant described witnessing Reilly “making up-and-down movements with her head while she was face down on Mr. Arnold’s lap.” This account was corroborated by the two minors present.

The flight had originated at New York’s JFK Airport and landed in Sarasota around 11:30 a.m., where local deputies subsequently took the couple into custody. They were released on their own recognizance on July 31.

In response to the incident, JetBlue confirmed that both individuals are permanently banned from future flights with the airline. The company stated, “This behavior is completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated by JetBlue.”

Court documents reveal that the couple waived their right to appear at their Aug. 15 arraignment in Sarasota County Court with Judge Danna Padar presiding. They are also facing pending misdemeanor charges in Connecticut for disorderly conduct and assault.

Currently, no further court dates have been scheduled regarding the Sarasota case.
