BRADENTON, Fla. — In a bizarre turn of events, the Bradenton Police Department (BPD) reported that a man woke up inside a vehicle that had unfortunately ended up in the water.
The incident occurred around 3 a.m. on September 14, when a 23-year-old man approached a gas station, stating he had regained consciousness in the passenger seat of a pickup truck situated in the water at the SR-64 boat ramp.

Upon arrival, officers verified the presence of the truck and found no other occupants. They confirmed that it belonged to the man who made the report, and he was subsequently transported to the hospital for evaluation.
According to the officers, tire tracks revealed that the truck had veered off the eastbound lanes of Manatee Ave., rolled down an embankment, and ultimately came to rest amid the mangroves.
