SARASOTA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Sarasota police are currently investigating a shooting incident that resulted in one individual sustaining injuries on Friday evening.
As reported by the Sarasota Police Department, officers were dispatched to the scene shortly before 6 p.m. in the 2400 block of Watts Way.
Upon arrival, law enforcement found an adult male injured near the intersection of First Street and Central Avenue. He was promptly transported to Sarasota Memorial Hospital, where he is receiving medical treatment for his injuries.
Additionally, three individuals have been taken into custody for questioning by the Sarasota Police Department.
