Prominent Sarasota real estate brokerage Michael Saunders & Co. is expanding into the Tampa Bay market with a new office in St. Petersburg, led by a reputable local broker.

The temporary office is situated at 360 Central Ave. and managed by Jennifer Thayer, who transitioned from Keller Williams, bringing along five members of her team.

Thayer is recognized as “a $110 million per year producer … widely known for her market expertise and steadfast integrity,” according to an MSC announcement.

She received her Florida real estate license in 2005 and, while serving as an on-site agent at the Signature Place condominium tower in downtown St. Petersburg, recorded $30 million in sales within her first six months. Her previous achievements also include playing a key role in the pre-construction sales of the One St. Petersburg condo complex.

Michael Saunders & Co. has welcomed her with the goal of “growing its footprint in Pinellas County,” where it already has an established presence.

The firm serves as the exclusive sales and marketing representative for the Residences at 400 Central, a 46-story tower currently under construction in the city.

In her previous role, Thayer was noted as the top referring agent during presales, as highlighted by MSC.

This new office marks the latest expansion for the leading Sarasota firm, which recently opened its 18th office in Sanibel. Overall, Michael Saunders & Co. boasts more than 600 agents and 150 support employees across the region.
