My career journey has included serving as Dean of Students at Southeast High School and working as a psychotherapist with Centerstone and Child Protective Services. These roles have equipped me with essential skills in community engagement and support, especially for disadvantaged families and youth.

What do you think are the top three issues the school district is currently facing?

One of the most pressing challenges in our community is Public Safety. As your future council member, I will prioritize building trust between law enforcement and the community. By collaborating with local ministers and launching proactive programs, we can help our youth to see law enforcement as protectors and allies.

Another major issue is Affordable Housing. I advocate for practical solutions that focus on durability and affordability rather than luxury. By making strategic material choices, we can create stable housing options that enhance our quality of life.

Furthermore, Redevelopment and Revitalization are crucial for economic growth and improving living standards. I will strive to cultivate partnerships between government and the private sector to invest in our community’s future.

Additionally, addressing the challenges posed by aging water infrastructure is vital for public health. I am dedicated to finding sustainable solutions that guarantee safe water for all residents.

As a committed community member, I am ready to serve Bradenton in a larger capacity because I believe in our community’s potential. Together, let’s work towards building a brighter future for Ward 5.
