Who Can Purchase a Rain Barrel?
All Manatee County residents and businesses are eligible to purchase rain barrels, with a limit of four barrels per property.

How to Purchase a Rain Barrel Kit
Manatee County Utilities customers can easily request a rain barrel kit through their online account. Follow these steps:

1. Log in to your Customer Service System (CSS) Portal.
2. Select the “Requests” option to submit your rain barrel purchase request.
3. If you need assistance with the portal, call Customer Service or email [email protected].

If you do not have a Manatee County Utilities account, you can still purchase a rain barrel by submitting your application along with payment via guaranteed funds (cash or money order) to the drop box at:

Be sure to include your name, address, and phone number in your envelope.

What’s Included in the Rain Barrel Kit?
Rain barrel kits are priced at $52.00 (including sales tax) and include:

• A 55-gallon reconditioned plastic drum (colors may vary based on supply).
• A debris drain, PVC fittings, and a brass spigot.
• Assembly instructions and guidance for constructing a stand.
• A homeowner’s guide from the Southwest Florida Water Management District.

Pickup Process
After your payment and application have been processed, a team member from Water Conservation will contact you to schedule a contact-free pickup appointment. Please note that appointments are required.
