BRADENTON, Fla. — Authorities have arrested a man for animal cruelty after allegations of abuse were reported to the police by a veterinary hospital.
The Bradenton Veterinary Hospital discovered that a cat in their care exhibited injuries consistent with blunt force trauma.
According to police reports, the cat’s owner returned home to find her pet injured. She alleged that her boyfriend, 26-year-old Keshaun Williams, threw the cat against a brick wall when she attempted to take it to the vet.
Williams has since been arrested for animal cruelty, as confirmed by the Bradenton Police Department (BPD).
The good news is that the cat is currently recovering. Officials are encouraging the public to report any suspected animal cruelty cases to the appropriate authorities.
“You know, it might just be time we take a look if HOAs are really even necessary.
Maybe we should just do away with homeowner associations as a whole.”
