ATV Manufacturer from Manatee County Expands into European Market

Date:

A Manatee County ATV manufacturer has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with a U.K.-based company, aiming to boost its international sales growth.

Recreatives Industries Inc. (OTC: RECX), based at 1936 59th Terrace E., specializes in producing amphibious, six-wheel-drive all-terrain vehicles known as MAX.

Rican ATV—operating as a Honda dealer in Yorkshire, U.K.—has established Rican Off-Road as the exclusive importer and distributor for MAX vehicles, accessories, and parts across Europe and the Falkland Islands.

As part of this agreement, Rican Off-Road will develop a MAX ATV dealer network in its territories, ensuring a consistent supply of products overseas.

Following Rican’s initial order of MAX ATVs in February, the company began obtaining the certifications necessary for sales within the U.K. and the EU.

Rican Off-Road plans to enhance its MAX inventory with two additional shipments this year, valuing over $250,000 combined.

“This agreement is a significant milestone in our strategy to expand the MAX brand globally,” said Recreatives Industries CEO Andrew Lapp. “Partnering with a dedicated distributor like Rican Off-Road allows us to better serve international markets and grow our dealer network.”

In 2026, both companies anticipate further expansion, with Recreatives planning to relaunch a four-passenger ATV model and introduce the Buffalo Truck—a two-passenger ATV designed for industrial use that can carry up to 1,000 pounds.

The company also aims to launch an eight-wheel MAX ATV by 2027, targeting larger markets, including industrial, commercial, and military sectors, while planning to explore electric vehicle drivetrains.
